1001 | Built 1970 | Built as an IC GP38AC #9503, repainted/renumbered in 1975 as 1776 as a replacement bicentennial unit, went to MKT as 328, then became UP 1985, and became a parts donor at NREX around 2005. Circa 2015, rebuilt into an NREX GP38-3, became NICTD 1001 in 2019, wearing an early version of their current MoW livery, and in 2020 the livery was updated to the current one. |
